Kevin says goodbye to KROQ

If you’ve listened to KROQ-FM Los Angeles in the past 30 years, you’ll want to listen to this. Kevin says goodbye. The morning show I spent more than half my life building is no more. Kevin was the of the remaining Kevin & Bean Show team members. He was let go, unceremoniously, on March 18, 2020, 30 years and 3 months after his first day on air.

Terrible mistake my kroq. Kevin and bean are the only reason anybody even likes the current kroq. They are the last little bit of the old kroq that everyone grew up listening to. Thank you Kevin! I hope to hear you on my speakers again.

Listened to Kevin & Bean since about 1992. Made my mornings very bright. Called in many times over the years & won tickets, prizes, Keep it 100, etc.

Kevin & Bean and the whole crew were the soundtrack to my teenage years when I started listening to the radio and caring about music. It's unconscionable that they are discarded like this; they are the only reason this station is valuable. Shame on Entercom.

I heard this live and I haven't listened to it again until now. It's still absolutely heartbreaking. Kevin and Bean was my favorite show and KROQ was one of my favorite channel. The BS way they executed the turn over pissed me off so badly I and many people i know refuse to listen to KROQ ever again.

I remember wining a trip to ski at Lake Tahoe from KROQ back in 92-93. On the way home we got fogged in and they closed the airport, so we had to stay the night at a weird hotel in Reno, Kevin put all our rooms on his credit card.

Wow!! Kevin, Allie, & Jensen were what made my morning commute tolerable. They made me laugh every day and I can't believe that KROQ was so cruel to fire them all during a time where the country is in crisis. Right now, we need the type of banter this show and this team provided. While I like Stryker & Klein, I got to listen to them on my commute home. I, like most of the people here think this is a terrible mistake and will likely alienate their fans, not help ratings. Money hungry, heartless corporate idiots.
