Ralph Garman Joins The Kevin & Bean Show to Say Goodbye on Bean's Last Day

Ralph Garman, a longtime fixture on the morning show, called in to share some of his favorite memories of working with Bean. They reminisced about one of Ralph's first appearances on the show, an April Fools prank in which he voiced Radiohead lead singer Thom Yorke getting in an argument with and punching Bean. They also played a clip from a bit that Bean declared "the single greatest moment of the Kevin & Bean Show", which included Ralph, as Jerry Lewis, speaking to the then-President of France Jacques Chirac.

The day Ralph left was the real day the show died not when bean left. Been listening since the 90’s.

Ralph is a class act for calling in and saying such nice things to the guys that fired him.

My highlight with Ralph was the damn wheel of animal voices. He hated that but they still went through with it with him cursing Bean at the end of the bit.

That was classic.

I just turned 38 on the 3rd. I moved to Texas in 05. So I grew up as a teen in East L.A., listening, tagging and skating to y'all. I used to collect KROQ stickers. Thanks Kevin and Bean for being in my life. Thank you Bean for being you. Blessings. <><

I was a devoted k&b listener since 2010. I would listen every single time they were on air. I could understand letting go of Lisa but when Ralph was fired, I stopped listening cold turkey.

Ralph is a perfect fit to replace Bean! He has a very good rapport with Kevin!

Would have not been a complete send off without the great Ralph Garman. Was so happy to hear them all together. Truly sad it goes down like this but, best of luck to you all. Thank you for the many years of information and laughs.

The day they fired Ralph, I boycotted the station for weeks. Ralph was the funniest person on the show and it was such a shame to let him go. I wish he would come back. Definitely the funniest and most talented.

Going back to watch videos of my favorite morning show because I still can’t believe that KROQ & Entercom just cut them off so abruptly and at the WORST possible time. I’ve listened to KROQ since I was a kid in the 80’s, and to the morning show since I was a teen in the 90’s. I guess we should’ve seen this coming with the crappy way they cut Lisa May and then Ralph, but really?! A Hall of Fame show just let go with no regard? I am 100% done with KROQ. There is nothing they can say to defend this BS. It’s all just transparent PR. This show was the ONLY thing I still listened to on radio. Now I have more space on my phone without the radio.com app.

I used to listen to KROQ's Richard Blade with Poorman. Was bummed on one morning these two new guys come on and I'm like what??? Mark and Brian ripoff? But they paved their own way and I was hooked on the show for years.
