Independent Senator Jacqui Lambie says the Labor government needs to provide details about the Voice to Parliament referendum or else they will “set this up to fail”.

She said she has had enough of “nice words” and “symbolism”.

“Give me the guts of what it looks like,” she told Sky News Australia.

“I want to know how they’re going to close the gap, I want to know what you’re going to do in this community, what services you’re going to provide in the future to be able to do this.

“But I just don’t want symbolism … we need some more detail.”

If the constitution could be changed with a stroke of Albo's pen then we must ask for our rights to arms, freedom of speech & freedom of choice

I`m Indigenous, and no way I am voting yes based on no info, why would you give the labor party, CCP collaborators & sycophants a blank cheque

I have no intention of signing a policy blank check to the labor party over this.
Until I know what a voice to parliament is and what it will do I will vote no.

When the leader of the greens refuses to have the Australian flag at press meetings and albo doesnt tell him to pull his in then things wont change, albo is a weak leader he couldnt even sort out the bad girls

The labor party are the original snake oil salesmen and they want me to vote for a blank HELL!
The referendum question should include additional questions like;
1. Will it help to put food on the table.
2. Will it lower the cost of energy
3. Will it lower inflation.
4. Will it lower the cost of fuel.
5. Will it help the homeless
6. Will it strengthen our
If you answer NO to any of the above then we don't need it.

Could Albo explain in details what this "voice in parliament " looks like or simply say it is a con !!!

The voice in Parliament already exists, Lambie is an example of that.

Regardless of what she is saying now, never forget that Lambie sold us out when it came to voting to protect our human rights.

Good comment by Lambie . Most people want to know what the set up will cover and who will be part of the plan

Vote first, details later.
Virtue signalling before critical thinking, Albo relying on majority of voters gullability.

Someone close the gap between Lydia Thorpe's ears, definitely voting no if that's the representation from the Aboriginal communities.

They are all trying to get on the gravy train but there are not enough doors! There are many parties involved in reforms. What effort is being made by these strong, characterful, proud Aboriginal communities to fix their own problems?

This ' voice ' thing is an exercise in stupidity. We need to be dealing with the issues that are in need of fixing now.

How to become a politician.
Hair must look like a wig.
Make-up thick as body filler on a crashed car.
Vocal must be harsh and bogan asf.

All in all though she has asked some solid questions, we need the guts of this whole issue. Although I have a feeling that if we knew the guts we would probably all vote a big fat NO. Something hella fishy about this whole situation. Not liking it at all.

they want to enshrine "sorry" in the constitution? Right next to the "IQ of 75" amendment.

Can't keep saying sorry but we can act and stop domestic violence in remote communities

Amazing. I'm sure One Nation's Pauline Hanson and LNPs Jacinta Price don't mind Jacqui Lambie spruiking their policies at all. More the merrier to get common sense policies through.
