MQA Sounds Good

I won't be using MQA. I don't care if it works well enough. They lied to us. And instead of owning up to it they subtly changed their marketing.

This video is very all over the place, the title states that it is looking into MQA lossless audio while in your description state that this video is going into the three streaming services so what was the focus of the video because it seems unclear also I know that the player and equipment your using is important but it took you 3 minutes to talk about the Music streaming services and 5 minutes before you started talking about MQA and you barely spent any time discussing MQA and its flaws and what people thought about as well as discuss your opinions in depth about the encoder.
You defiantly in my opinion use better work on your direction of your videos and honestly wouldn’t mind a more in depth take on your reasoning for liking MQA?

Tidal mqa files have more bass and a fuller sound. but can also sound muffled, muddy and compressed. Amazon ultrahd files in comparison have much better clarity, 3d imaging and soundstage. Supposedly Qobuz is even better then amazon but I haven't tried it. I guess it all comes down to personal preference.

You can get Tidal for free as part of your Plex Pass. Thats what I do.

Thank you for giving an honest opinion on MQA. Don't let the anti MQA gang, possibly cult, pressure you into going against it. It does sound better, and it is noticeable when listening to it with the correct equipment, and the correct Tidal settings.

MQA actully stands for Master Quality Authenticated, not assured. I'm a fan of MQA despite the controversy. It simply sounds better with a lot of my music and that's all I care about.

On a normal audiophile system the sound level is really too low to hear the benefit of MQA's time smearing correction.
But on a high end PA system unless you were deaf you just couldn't miss it.

MQA is snake oil it sounds worse than mp3 that is converted from cd at a bitrate of 160kbps
