Nearly seven billion dollars worth of military equipment has been left behind in Afghanistan. This American military equipment has just been left behind to be used by the Taliban. Weapons are in the hands of the same enemy that America tried to drive out for two decades.

The Soviet withdrawal in Afghanistan back in the late 80s was much better than the US in 2021

"Hasty nature of the withdrawal" -> the brass had over a whole year to make a withdrawal plan and get things into motion and when it was time they made one big calamity leaving all this equipment behind and the whole withdrawal process even ended in civilian body count. I'm surprised multiple people are not in jail over this but I guess when it comes to incompetence of leadership, nobody really answers for failures
