I have watched many of the Top Three Pen YouTube clips but this is the only one that has ever moved my heart. Anabelle, your attachment to these pens has made me look at my collection differently. First time I went to the shop, which is actually almost around the corner for me, I met Annabelle. At that point I was ‘researching’ the Pilot capless which had to be ordered but she let me try hers. I was sold and now the Pilot caples is my nr 2. My nr 1 is the Pelikan Souverän 600. So far nothing has beat that one from its nr 1 position and for me that has to do with the way it writes first and after that the way it looks. Say hi to Annabelle and het lovely contribution to this channel. Fountain pens are all about emotions🥰

Including a glass nib pen in this video is very original and awesome. Although I have never used one before, I guess that it must be fantastic to write with! I have a collection of vintage fountain pens with ended having damaged nibs. However sadly in my country there is no nib specialist who can restore them. Your customers are very lucky to have you to help. Thank you for this wonderful video.

Delightfully frank & candid, Annabelle - no frills or furbelows; this of course would be yet another reason to visit Appelboom's store, in Laren. I too am a lefty, Annabelle - I have a few pens that would require your artisan skill set, in modifying some of my nibs - particularly, the obliques.

Annabelle, your explanations were delightful: both interesting and charming. As far as Appelboom, it was masterful to attach a face and voice to the person we would trust to tune our nib. I will request a review now. If Appelboom or you lets me know, I might also pay (if available) for a service to tune a titanium nib on a Stipula. I purchased it new at around $500, and I cannot get the pen to write. The vendor, not Appelboom, did not seem to interested in helping. I regret not sending it back, but I have not used it in over a year now! Of course, you are in Europe, so it probably makes more sense to send it to a nibmeister here. My only point is that your presentation make me wish you were in the new USA-based store! :)
