It’s whipped egg whites! It’s a popular alternative for bread for those with diabetes and those who follow a keto diet. Just whip up and bunch of egg whites with some cream of tartar, lay it out on a nonstick (silicone mats are the best way), bake, then add your toppings. And of course back in the oven for a second bake. If you need more binding structure, xanthan gum or a bit of cassava flour works fantastic.

3 egg whites, beat until stiffpeaks.
1 teaspoon cornstarch
Any seasonings you like, blend just until combined w the eggwhites.

Line a baking tray w baking paper and spread the mixture fairly thin, you want to mess as little as possible w it now or else it will loose it’s stiffness.
Bake it at like 356 Fahrenheit until it’s golden brown.
Top it w whatever you like & bake it for another 5 min or until the cheese melts

(I usually don’t put sauce on it, like tomato sauce if you’re making pizza, because it tends to get watery so I’ll heat up the sauce and dip the pizza instead. Tastes just the same - the wet)

I will just have a slice of pizza, maybe not as the whole meal, but I would have my slice of pizza and have a salad or some stirfry greens with it

You can also use low calorie tortillas, a big one is usually around 70 calories and they usually have lots of fiber and are low carb

I’ve made this a few times and while it’s not bad and does make a lot of food, I don’t think it replaces a real pizza craving.

If I’m hungry, 260 calories is not gonna cut it regardless of how much protein there is. 260 calories isn’t enough for most people. Calorie restriction has detrimental effects on the body even if we think we’re outsmarting it by consuming “more protein”. Also, if one 300+ calorie slice isn’t enough, neither is 260 calories.
