Gender determination at 12 weeks is not accurate, but you can look up the "nub theory" on the internet and ask the sonographer what he or she thinks ?

Hi Sara, Thank you for writing.

Although this is your second pregnancy (congratulations by the way) I doubt you can feel flutters at this stage. Although baby is bouncing around the inside of the womb there are very few nerve endings and baby's movements cannot be felt.

The sensations you are feeling are very likely those of bowel peristalsis.
