Discernment is lacking in the church today. Something we should all be praying for.

Another one I hear is "God works in mysterious way..." I hear them all the time. And I'm like, "He's not that mysterious that he'll break his own word."🤦🏽‍♀️

Melissa and Alisa has really opened my eyes to how Lukewarm Christian I am. I need to make time to examine my thoughts from Tolerance vs. True Love, and Really not being a Friend of this world. And to really study my Bible. There is no escaping the Book.

I called sin, sin in a church the I was in for a very long time. I was told that I was wrong, that I was causing division. I was told that I needed to get on board with them, get in unity. I left. It has been very difficult. I have been falsely accused and made out to be the bad guy, because I choose to follow the Word of God. I choose Jesus.

Oh my goodness. I fell for some of this new age garbage without realizing it. I owned a fitness franchise for 2 years and this type of new age talk "speak success into existence " was rampant. I thought it was just super positivity. God started stirring my heart summer 2019 and I closed my business and refocused my priorities on God and the roles he's given me. He's so gracious!

Alisa, thank you for what you're doing. It's been so hard for me as a Christ follower to find Biblically sound female teachers.

I can relate with Melissa’s story about the Jehovah’s Witnesses she met. I recently become coworkers with a Mormon. The differences between our beliefs caused me to look more closely into my own reasoning and convictions. Totally deepened my faith and caused me to hold even tighter to the true word of God. Don’t be afraid to ask yourself hard questions and find the answers in scripture!

"The more mindless that you become, the more spiritual you are" wow! That is so so true, guilting you when you have questions!

I love the fact that you ladies have both searched and found the truth in scripture. It's not easy to leave a movement where all of your friends belong, but God wants us to question all we're taught with boldness and measure it against his word.

A friend told me of her religious upbringing. Her parents were into a syncretistic all religions are a way to God group. One odd thing struck them - although the leaders often spoke of Jesus, the bookstore sold no books about Jesus, or Bibles. When her family were converted to Christianity, they realized why this was. You can't know the teachings of Jesus and believe what that group was teaching.

As I was listening it occurred to me that perhaps these beliefs of "Oneness", "Universalism" and "Plurism" are leading towards a "One world order."

My story IS VERY SIMILAR... n yes IT’S VERY HARD TO LEAVE THE NEW AGE WHEN YOU HAVE SOO MUCH POWER... until you start feeling depressed n distressed

New Age "love" is basically always affirming and never disagreeing with anyone and if you do youre just a "hater"

It is really problematic when people claim that we can all be Christ. Many people are confused, myself included. I am happy about the education you are doing, I have learned a lot.

It was a full time job trying to come to my “true self” when I was in the New Thought. I felt that if I wasn’t coming into my true self then, I couldn’t please God. It was a never ending cycle of highs and lows that were completely unsustainable. I was taught that if I was saved I would no longer have sinful thoughts or act in sin ever again once you accept Christ. So when I would sin I would be so frustrated and did not realize that my salvation is sealed and not dependent upon me but upon the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ. Also was told I had to do miracles as evidence that I was saved and knew I couldn’t do them so again I thought I probably wasn’t saved. Experiences were allegedly signs that the Holy Spirit was in your life and that you were saved and if you were not manifesting then you probably weren’t saved. Such a mess. I Thank God for bringing me out, calling me to repentance and belief. For the first time I was taught from some Christian friends how to read scripture in context instead of reading it based upon what it means to me.

Thank you for what you both are doing! People need to know that new age Christianity exists and they may even be a new age Christian and have now idea. This is exactly what the public needs to hear. So good. Such truth. God bless!!

I've just realized that I was in this thought of the law of attraction. I've seen a lot of videos, "sermons" about this. I was taught that if I speak, constantly I will receive it. And I've done that a lot, in that time I was like "oh, I'm not receiving because I don't have faith." Wow, thank you so much for this video.

Sad truth is most are teaching such things! Even more sad, most professing Christians still don't care because their feelings and opinions are more important that God's Holy Bible! So awesome to see you two together for a video!

Thank you for talking about The Shack. When the book and movie came out I refused to read or watch it and my friends thought I was insane. I couldn’t, at the time, put into words what was wrong but I knew it was wrong (if that makes sense).
