One in six people globally are affected by infertility according to the World Health Organization and this figure is expected to increase in the future.

Sky's Charline Bou Mansour got a fertility 'MOT' check and investigated what was driving this global fertility crisis - from crashing sperm counts and ovarian disorders to lifestyle choices.

Why on earth would I want to put someone else in a situation I barely want to be in myself?

Difficult to make babies when a lot of young British adults can only afford to live with their Mum and Dad.

Government policy has made housing so expensive. People don't want families if they don't have a stable home. Blame the government.

The state of the united Kingdom looks pretty alarming to be honest but that's the same with many countries now Greed, wars, famine, poverty, control, people are getting older and more sicker and more disabled to go with it, expensive

Who spent decades saying at school that the world didn't need more people because we had too many people? They forgot to say that it wasn't in European countries but the problem was in Africa, Asia, South America... Now women say they can be a mother at 50 because some famous woman was a mother at that advanced age. And nowadays women start looking for a partner to be a mother at 35 (look) and try to get married at 40 and be a mother at 50...
