Carrie Fisher put a lot of truth and feeling into her role as Princess Leia in Star Wars. That's what made her a great actress! So sad hearing that the woman died too soon. RIP, Carrie Fisher, the REAL Princess Leia!

I always found it a bit strange when Leia got excited saying "Ben Kenobi!" She was pleading for Obi-Wan Kenobi in the hologram. But after watching the first two episodes of the Obi-Wan series, her knowing him as Ben makes more sense and her empathy toward Luke's loss is more sympathetic.

For those wondering why Leia poses sensually when Luke finds her in her cell, that's because of a plot detail lost by constant script rewrites: in Lucas's original draft, Leia (who is a spoiled brat and not the strong and stubborn woman we know) has a growing sexual tension with the hero Annikin Starkiller. After being separated from her group and kidnapped by the Empire, Leia receives Annikin when he goes to rescue her from captivity with a sensual pose to encourage their reunion to be more passionate, an objective that she fulfills when both youngsters kiss while the Death Star is destroyed. All of this is depicted in the comic book adaptation of Lucas's original draft called "The Star Wars".
