hi, please how do I move folders out of teams . may be into shared drive or one drive where team can see it later but not on Teams. we have too many historical folders dated years back and its not helping the tidying up, the channels and docu library is a mess, the only way is to move them out of teams. please advice cheers

Does moving documents/folders require a certain permission level? When I click on the three dots I have a much shorter drop down list and move isn't an option.

I have a question that hopefully you could help me with. I have a teams channel for my company that is titled “Departments”. Within that channel are multiple tabs that each are titled after departments we manage. I made these department tabs “SharePoint Pages” so that they’re able to view multiple apps on one page that pertain to the department. (Links to other sources as well as the department’s specific folders).

With all that being said, each of these SharePoint Pages have a web app (Document Library) that automatically shows that department’s folders and files (which come from the Files tab). I want my team to be able to move/copy the files from this view without having to go into the Files tab to move documents around. I hope this makes sense how I’m explaining it. If they are only able to move or copy documents strictly from the Files tab, then the SharePoint Pages I created for each department would be useless. I want them to be able to have one page where they can do everything they need without having to go back and forth. Can you help me with this?

It doesn't work. I have a file in one channel that i shared with a person, then moved the file to a new channel and even clicked off "Keep sharing with the same people" when it was moved. However, the link I gave him in the first place doesn't work anymore, and says: "You don't have access to this file". What is wrong here?
