I agree that the crypto industry is not as regulated as the traditional industry, but saying Bitcoin is untraceable is just false. The silk road thought the same thing and this was the reason for their demise. Every transaction is on the Blockchain and it is easy to trace for law enforcement, especially if there is a conversion to fiat.

The way I see it, crypto currency and NFTs are artificial values. There is no physical entity, and is dependent on what someone else would want to pay for it. With these entities it is very easy to be scammed. The value of any crypto currency is not backed by any GDP, banking system, country or viable currency. NFTs are digital art works, and really has no physical value.

I would feel more secure by investing in to shares of an operating corporation that has physical assets such as property, operations, produces products or offers a usable and needed service, and etc. Investing in to precious metals, physical commodities, and in to actual currencies such as foreign exchange trading would have more security than investing in to any non physical entity.
