Back in the day before EDF fans, I built the Yellow Aircraft F-4, built it as #4 blues angles. We had nitro engines. Mine had like a 52" wing span, it was rite around 11 lbs with a Dynamax fan with a OS 91 which was specifically made for Ducted Fans ( tractor fans) 5" inch fan. Flew great.

Just a hunch but I think the gyro you’re referring to is the HobbyEagle A3 Lite. I have several of them in my jets, they’re awesome

My dad flew these in Vietnam. It was his favorite until the F-16 came out.

It flies good but when it cqme for the takeoff it had a screech sound but in air its beatiful with that sound

I knew several pilots that flew during Vietnam. They loved the f4. But I always heard it was the A7 that was called the brick.
