Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I’m a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. Some of the mods that are out there for DCS World are the F-22 Raptor, SU-57, A-4 Skyhawk, Rafale, and Gripen.

I enjoy other games such as Total War, Battlefield, War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, as well as Squad.

I was wondering if you were gonna be able to cram the f4 startup in a minute lol thanks for the tutorials

- I turn on both masters and then start airflow to right. Because I can’t seem to click any switches while the Jester menu is open. Also, upon opening the Jester menu each time, I always get an annoying 3 or 4-second delay before the selection pointer appears.
- Moving throttle to 1/2 until light-off doesn’t seem necessary. I just move it to idle.
- I stop air past 45% rpm, and then after getting plane captain acknowledgement and while in the menu, I connect to left engine (acknowledgement) and then start air.
- then switch on R GEN and look for 10-18% rpm on left engine
- light left engine
- stop air past 45%
- disconnect air
- then turn on L GEN and cycle R GEN
- answer Jester and carry on

- you’re supposed to avoid taxiing with STAB AUG switches on.

- I think canopies open is only necessary during post-landing taxi, because you’re de-humidifying the air conditioning system with hot air.

…and you’re going to takeoff without knowing if your hydraulically-powered control surfaces are responding. But, I understand the 60-seconds constraint. 🙂

This is for any newbies out there wondering what the different alignments are.

Full alignment:
The most precise alignment but the most lengthy one.
Average alignment time is around 8-12 minutes. Used for when you got time and patience on your hands.

BATH alignment:
A really quick but relatively inaccurate alignment. Average alignment time is around 2-4 minutes.
Only really used for when time is of the essence like a scramble scenario.

And Stored heading Alignment:
Best of both worlds but can only be used if set by the mission editor.
Fast and precise alignment.
