Are pointers considered hard? I learned how to use them in one of my first C++ programming classes I took in college. I think using smart pointers in C++ helps things though as they are automatically deallocated when their reference is deleted so it's harder to create accidental memory leaks.

Its so fun writing redundant lines of code with pointless verbose wording only to end up with a "NullPointerException" to show up when we run our program!

either way, you risk fucking up the entire code, like seriously the entire thing

The restart IDE issue is why I hate integrated enviroments and prefer to use a simple text editor and a Makefile, if it doesn't compile I know it's absolutely me being dumb and not the IDE having a stroke
