You don't answer there - you don't even ask there... You respect the hierarchy, ask google and then get directed to your question, asked by someone who has the skillset to be authorised to offer a sacrifice together with a question to the stack overflow gods.

The Stack Overflow slander is true af. Back then I was kinda new to C++ and I asked a question related to a project that I was tasked with. And holy hell instead of answer people just keep talking about how easy this is, and I should read "insert book name here" for answer instead of asking. Geez thanks Stack Overflow senior, I'd love to read those $50 book title that I don't have access to because I don't live in US/Europe or money to buy. But I really respect the Indian senior guy who tried his best to answer my question.

When I worked in IT I got a call from somebody who said their printer was probably broken because it was printing things slowly.
It worked fine. The software she was using had a print function and that had this janky-ass delay to it that I had no power in fixing. She couldn't understand why I couldn't type some mumbo jumbo to magically fix it and make it work faster.
I am currently taking a hiatus from following my degree for my mental health
