The fact that you've never finished a book series makes me uncomfortable... THAT being said, I wish I had never carried on with the Green Bone Saga so I guess I get it. I loved Jade City, hated Jade War and ended up DNFing Jade Legacy and just read spoilers for the ending and was disappointed 😅

I think as reading becomes a performative act (If you read a book and you don't make video, does it even count?) you're not really alone in not finishing anything. The glee displayed by some booktubers and tiktokers in their DNF videos is a sad sign of the times.

I also DNFd Green Bone Saga. I LOVED the first book; 5 stars! The second book, kinda disappointing and boring. The last book, complete snoozefest. I DNFd at 60%.
