Been thinking of buying some but im never sure which ones to buy (which is one of the reasons i got none yet). This guide will come in handy when i finally get around to it! Since im playing mainly sweden, most tanks already have some kind of camo (after a certain amount of kills that is) for every environment and since im playing at a BR where thermals dont exist yet it has worked well enouth in forests and alike but in desert maps its been a pain to hide.

One thing to note for anyone using bushes is be carefull of Antennas and how they blend into the background, cant tell you how many times i saw a bush at 800+ meters with an antenna sticking out the top (on a tank without antenna i would have thought it was just a random bush, but it had an antenna so... xD). Perks of having good zoom sights on alot of tanks i guess xD

There is another dirty method of applying your bushes:
MAKE YOURSELF BIGGER THAN YOU ARE!
this is particularly useful in tanks that have off center turrets and ones that are open with crew sticking out.
you can add a ton of empty space to your tank by having the bushes stick out and make it harder to recognize your silouette.
and Hans will have something to hide behind to be less obvious.

I hate how ugly and unrealistic bushes make the game look. I'm an old player and I have all but one of the original 6 pack bushes and I rarely use them, if I do it's always just to make my tank look cool and realistic which is a lot more fun I think. Sticking a bunch of shrubs and leaves on the front of your tank just makes the game look like shit.

3:02 i find that disguising your tank as a different countries tank can lead to some fun bounces if you do it right. I have a panzer that i managed to make look like it has a pointed turret with a sloped front hull plate.I almost never get shot in the drivers hatch. Also dont make it nice and neat, leave bushes sticking over edges or at weird angles, it makes it more natural looking and breaks up the silhouette. Our brains are designed to focus on straight lines and sharp corners because those do not usually occur naturally, nature is usually more random and chaotic. The number one biggest disadvantage besides the whole "target the guy with bushes because bushes" is you lose any chance you might have of being mistaken as dead. they might nit see you if you are clever, but nobody will ever think you are dead.

Problem is they block your gun sights.

I'm thinking palm leaves are the single best option in case you only have a default tank skin, because they are the best in winter and desert and are decent elsewhere.

how do you not cover your optic? I have the problem where the bushes will cover up my optic and driver periscope and find it incredibly useless.

Do you need to buy each bush separately or can I buy one and use it on multiple tanks for free after paying the 500 GE?

You can't buy them in the current battlepass. :(
Or at least I can't, I have instead helmets.

someone should clarify, this isn't so much for low ranks but for rank 6-7 where most battles are sniping fests. so you need the camo.
