My great grandfather, of Irish stock played spoons like a master. He would grab any old spoons from the kitchen drawers.
He did show me 40 years ago but I never got it.

yes all spoons have a different sound and you just have to be comfortable with it many people who play spoons develop their own feel and style. Abby has a very unique style and feel for the spoons.
