I had a contract to work at an unused hospital for one month, to ensure the equipment and facilities were ready for onboarding, the place was massive but the way the lights worked was backwards due to an electrical mistake, so you had to walk through a long dark hallway about 100 meters/yards long with open entrances on your left and right to turn on the lights, and vice versa, at the end of the day I had to turn off the lights and walk back out of the dark to the next light. Made the hair stick up on my neck every time, always felt like something was watching in the darkness.

The hospital I work at has an abandoned unit and it’s super eerie looking. There’s always a radio playing and if you turn it off, as said by the janitor that maintains the floor every night, the spirit residing there gets angry and throws stuff around until you play up the radio again.
