I am a very big fan of the scriptues as well and I thank you for helping me enjoy my scripture study more fully. It has meant a lot to me during a time when we can't attend Sunday School to have more excellant ways to interact with others about the scriptures. There are three other YouTube channels which I am also subscribed for the same reason. I am amazed at how each channel enlightens my study in such unique ways. Your approach for this video was helpful to me in other ways as I think about how I can produce better videos about family history and our House of Israel Covenant with God. Along with your wonderful suggestions for more effectve scripture study, I would like to add my own. Many years ago I started the practice of asking the Lord what He wanted to say to me that day, and then opening the scriptures randomly and reading as long as I need to get everything He wants to say to me. This has most often taken place in the temple, but now takes place at home in a room that has been dedicated to the work God has asked me to do until I can do it again in the temple. It is very easy for me to hear Him speak to me in first person and liken those scriptures to me through the power of the Holy Ghost. The Lord has been my personal Savior and Healer through some horrific circumstances, and this method of communicating with Heavenly Father has helped me feel closer to Him than any other method.
