Christie’s is delighted to present ‘A Special Exhibition of the MQJ Collection & The Book Launch of “Three Decades of Ming Furniture”’.
Grace Wu, the preeminent connoisseur of Ming furniture, and Kevin Ching, Christie’s Chairman Asia, explore the life and the MQJ collection of the timeless beauty of Ming furniture.
Grace Wu is the first international dealer and a leading collector of Ming furniture. She founded the 'Grace Wu Bruce Gallery' in 1987 and participated in major global art fairs in London, the Netherlands, New York, and Basel.
The exhibition will feature close to 30 pieces of the finest classical Ming furniture from the collection, including the extremely rare late Ming Huanghuali Alcove Bed.
