I had to save my neighbor child as well, she was 1yrs old, she chocked on a marble, and was blue, I knew I had no time to spare, picked child up did Heimlich maneuver, marble came out, child was crying music to my ears, was so happy to see ambulance, mom was so thankful, child today is 22 yrs old doing well

I wish more parents took CPR classes or other classes to help in scenarios like this. Child choke a lot and it’s important to know how hard to hit their back and where.

Thank God for the man that ran out to get the life Vac. He could've just set around and did nothing, waited for the ambulance to arrive, but he chose to make a difference. He's the true HERO in this story. Thank you Sir.

EVERY person should know the Heimlich and CPR. Its easy enough to contact agencies to take the class.

You can tell NO ONE knew what to do, BUT STILL showed support in trying, good on the man for quick thinking! He was in the right place at the right time!

While pregnant, CPR classes should be mandatory. I took CPR on my own when I was pregnant just in case

It never ceases to amaze me, the amount of parents that don't take a CPR class.

There's something really sweet about how all the elderly people surrounded the table to try to help. Everyone in the comments judging the parents, if you've ever truly been terrified and in shock, you would understand.
