This fight is so cleverly engineered, you have to love it. From the mirroring of his defeat in Karate Kid 3, where he was smashed into mirrors by Mr Miyagi and here with Daniel into a Glass Cobra. All the way to the lines like ‘Do The Crane Danny Boy’ during his fight with Mike Barnes in Old Cobra Kai Dojo. It’s great to see how far Daniel has come even in Cobra Kai this season

Love how Daniel catches the silver bullet, elbow and knee, so badass

"do what you have to do" is a great line because it resolves 5 seasons of Mrs Larusso not wanting to live in this weird karate-crazy stuck in the 80s universe. Daniel can win because she's finally on board. It's a very Adrian telling Rocky to WIN moment.

This scene to me was Daniel finally finding his true balance. Every other fight in the series and movies he always had apprehension and doubt. This time he was like every time we saw Miyagi he was totally calm, focused, and in control. For the first time Daniel took all he'd learned from Miyagi, Silver, Chozen, and even Johnny and there was no doubt in his mind that this wasn't even a fight.

This is the evolution of Daniel Larusso from a guy struggling to find balance in his life to a strong, focused Sensei that has finally adopted Mr Myagi’s teachings to its fullest.

I love the flashbacks makes the scenes so powerful. Ironic how Silver lost to the crane kick after mocking it 30 plus years ago.

I have to admit, I kinda rolled my eyes when Terry Silver first showed up in this series, but Thomas Ian Griffith won me over the course of the season. Kudos to the writers, as well, who continued to elevate not only the Cobra Kai series, but the entire movie trilogy. Well done.

Daniel (Kicks Silver right into the mirror)
Mr. Miyagi (From heavens above): HUO OH! WAAH! HUO OH!

So satisfying. This is how you write. Long term storytelling. Chosen told him. To beat snake, you must fight like snake. This is how you nail the end of a season. This is why Cobra Kai has become so successful. Everything comes together just right. You invested in the characters from the beginning and you get back. I wish a lot of show today followed this simple rule

One of the best martial arts fight in tv series/movie history. The choreography isn't over the top with a 1000 stunts just simple precise moves. No cringe dialogues just a few powerful lines. Both the actors understood their character's assignment. The bgm is perfect. All the references and call backs tied back together beautifully.

Daniel won before a single punch was thrown and they both knew it. He entered the fight with zero concerns about legacy, ego, or self. He was unbeatable in such a state.

"Miyagi-do existed long before any of us. It'll be around long after we're gone. The roots are strong, the tree will survive."

And with that, the fight was over.

Daniel blocking Terri's sneak attack by using his leg and elbow to pinch Terri's wrist has to be the most insane block in Karate Kid/Cobra Kai history.

He took Chozen's advice and used his own strategy against Terry Silver

Thomas Ian has to be one of the most underrated actors of all time

I'd have laughed my ass off if Daniel just pulled out a tazer and dropped Silver like a sack of wet rocks.

No way this series could end without seeing the crane kick again. Well done.

This was such a full circle moment. I felt Mr. Miyagi there with Daniel. It was amazing. This episode blew me away.

I loved the way Daniel gives it back after more than 30 years of being duped by Terry Silver.

Real "If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine." vibes. Expert-level storytelling.
