Very informative, thank you. Your video was going quite well then at 5:45 on comes background music (noise) over your voice. It is beyond me why YouTube content creators think it important playing music while they are speaking. Folks, we came to hear you not annoying background noise. Many folks have hearing difficulties, thus the background music makes it quite difficult for them understanding the spoken word. At your next meeting while the speaker is talking turn on music at the volume of the speakers voice, see how well that works for you and the audience.

Auto-sync or backup folders on PC:

When I click on the cloud icon, I get the option of either "Create account" or "Sign in"

1) When I click on "Create account" - it takes me to my OneDrive account on the browser, since I already have an OneDrive account and linked to my PC
2) When I click "Sign in" - I get the following: You're already syncing a personal OneDrive on this computer

Not sure if I am missing something or there is a glitch?

I don't know MUCH! I did my first OneDrive a couple of days ago (music). I use MS Windows Media/Music. I uploaded all of my folders into OneDrive. When I opened Windows Media Music yesterday I discovered that almost ALL of my songs had been duplicated or tripled. WOW! Is that normal? How can I prevent that in the future? Thanks.

Unfortunately this assumes that you are a new user with no experience. Those of us who have used computers for many years have logical drives such as C: and D: with many folders. This is a much more complex issue as to where to store the ONEDRIVE. In fact ONEDRIVE needs to be regarded as the master drive and everything currently on D: for example needs to be beneath it. At that point one needs to decide if the items are to be stored on your local machine and thus available when there is no connection or local and cloud or cloud only. I have had to reorganise completely clearing D: drive and giving the space to C: then switching hundreds of files to local/cloud. Microsoft 365 is a great option but it is rather like switching from manual gearbox to TESLA there are new tricks to be learned.

I am only just into this instruction video and was pleased that is began music-free; BUT as in a previous comment, the music comes in as soon the voice over begins the tutorial! I ma severely deaf and wear hearing aids. Computer communication is vital to me, especially the written word. Why does a tutorial need background music? What purpose does it serve? Even quiet music with the spoken word demands that your brain works in two separate recognition/processing centres. When there are graphics to decipher as well it is a strain on the brain while trying to learn something new. Please, please, please disable the music. No classroom - with the exception of a music room - educates students with background music.

I have searched for 3 days & can not find answer. I have been sent an email with a 365 OneDrive link created by the sender so I can "drag and drop" about 150 photos into that link so they will have access to them along with the meta data for each. Can someone please help me with that? I have 365 OneDrive Personal. This is pretty urgent. Saw your video & thought I might get lucky. Thanks

Good day!

I have folders shared to other onedrive accounts.
Will there be a problem to the links of the shared folders if i changed my onedrive password?

Thank You.

I can't get help from one drive except by email which has been frustrating beyond words. Under my favourites in One Drive my files are there that were moved over also when I save something from an email it shows up there HOWEVER when I google one drive and go to my account it is empty and does not show what I can see in my finder one drive location. When I create a document it allows me to select to one drive personal however does not save in either one drive locations I select. When I create a document from one drive it does save though. I seriously am desperate to resolve this. Could you possibly help?

One Drive just deleted six years' worth of sound files from my computer and removed almost all of the icons from my desktop when it "backed up" my computer. Feels more like it was hijacked. How can I get my icons back on my desktop? Since I've uploaded all my files, does Microsoft now own them? Microsoft tech support was no help at all. Any advice on how to get my files back to my computer would be greatly appreciated so I could get rid of One Drive. My experience has been disastrous.
