The CDC has lost credibility with me with this change of the isolation time down to 5 days. It is not based on science, it’s just based on keeping the economy going. I guess they’ve given up on trying to contain the spread.

I'm fully vaccinated and boosted, still wearing a mask when in public indoor places, still trying to maintain social distancing, still using proper hygiene, trying to do my civic part. I see some other conscientious citizens doing the same. It's really not all that hard or burdensome, and I don't understand why so many others can't follow common sense guidelines to keep everyone safe and to help get things back to normal.

That's the reality we're faced with.

So these are only the people who have been officially tested. Lots of people know they are sick, don't want to isolate because they don't want to miss work, and pretend they just have a cold. If those people are factored in, the numbers would be exponentially higher.

When I was exposed I tested negative 3 times and still wore my mask for two weeks. Sad that we humans can't just stop for 2 weeks... thats everyone and if you have to go out you mask and shield even when outside ... just two weeks .... its ridiculous going into year 3 .. and all we needed to do was all sit on our bums for two weeks or a month at most... instead we still have people NOT doing their part
