I don't think Osterholm is saying what Whoopee thinks he is saying -- I believe he is assuming a certain base knowledge of disease transfer. He is not saying lock yourself up and social distance during the "slow burn". This is destroying the fabric of society.

Am just watching this, am still on phase 2 of quarantine in my household. We wear a mask everywhere if we need to go out. This is something that is mutating, you can’t take it lightly. We need at least 20 months to have enough information to be going out again and having somewhat a sense of normalcy. Not one person in household has gotten this flu and I thank God, and it’s largely due to being extra cautious because we want to protect ourselves, our neighbors, and the people we love!

I'm watching this again it's amazing how they just switch the covid-19 is over I live in New York and we just tried to open up today and the covid-19 is up because people didn't practice social distancing. All we heard was stay separate don't be in crowds. You can't go to church and pray about any of this or be considered selfish if you say that at a time when our nation really needs healing
