The 2023 Acura Integra 6-Speed Is An Adult Friendly Manual Sporty Sedan

The #AcuraIntegra is a powerful name among enthusiasts. When #Acura first announced the return of the #Integra name, it got a lot of hype due to its 25 year hiatus. The newest Integra has evolved into a much more sophisticated machine, but the basic formula is still there. Honda Civic bones with a more premium and mature feel. The #IntegraASpec adds more visual flair and its one of the very few vehicles in its segment to still offer a 6-speed manual transmission.

So we hear rumors that Acura is doing some Integra Type S prototype drives for media out in Japan next month and while the company has been quiet about the existence of the Type S, we expect an official announcement to happen before the end of the year. Are you guys excited for the higher performance variant?

Got the Integra about 2 months ago and have been loving it as a daily driver! Originally wanted the Si, but every dealer had markups in my area, so Integra 6MT at MSRP was what I got. Thanks for the review Sofyan!

I bought a manual 3 weeks ago. I've had an ls integra, gsr and now this, along with plenty of supercharged mustangs and now a turbo fox body. The integra if amazingly fun for a daily. The car is pure balance. I love it!

Finally a manual sedan that I can drive without trying to fit in with the 19yrs old crowd while still feeling like a 19 yr old

Had it since early July. Surprisingly roomy interior (I'm coming from a Mazda 3 hatch); grainy backup camera, no 360-degree camera; gets amazing gas mileage (averaging just over 37mpg right now). I like the HUD quite a bit. Android Auto wireless integration is a bit buggy and wireless charging has been iffy (that could be the fault of my Pixel 6, not the car). Handling and cornering are just wonderful - it's so light it feels good to toss around corners. Overall a lovely car and it's turned more than a few heads (I got the blackout package on a black exterior).

I don't care for the screen size really. Not getting in car to watch TV, 😂

I love the honda acura brands, but they cut cost in places that are so obvious that it's silly. They definitely can do better.

Sadly, no AWD? Yet again, AWD is a waste of money, gas, adds extra weight. Front wheel drive is absolutely enough for daily driving.

I bought one over the weekend & I love it. I commute for work and the ride is smooth. The seats are quite comfy. I wish they were ventilated. Hoping to upgrade to a TLX in a few years.

I can see it as a daily driver, but hardly to be coveted as a sports sedan. The 2.0T could change that.

20:41 THANK YOU! It’s amazing how many people don’t know that the Integra has always been Civic-based. Most were very pedestrian vehicles with modest power, little wheels, cloth interiors, and no fancy doodads. Most of the early generations even looked like Civic’s.

Great review! After looking for a 22/23 Si in Blue or Orange-and (never found Orange) but consistently finding Si @ 35 K-finding an Apex Blue 6MT Aspec Tech-and test driving it-sold me at 35K
Tires and having to shift just before 60 gives a 7 sec 0-60- but the power is instantly available when driving-and it is quick. A few have gotten sub 7's-as fast as 6.6 with the traction turned ALL the way off ("pedal Dance").

It’s amazing to think that my 2017 10th gen Sport Touring Civic hatch had heated rear seats but this Acura doesn’t.

I bought a 2024 in black with the 6 speed manual last week, and I love it. Where I live the Civic Si is hard to come by. Also, the dealer mark ups on the Si combined with my Acura dealership's willing to sell slightly below MSRP make the prices comparable. It's a wonderful car to drive, no regrets!
