The integra has always been a fancy civic. Why people are expecting some twin turbo v6 0-60 is beyond me.

I m hearing a lot of haters in here regarding a 0 to 60 if you really need the speed just a get the new Z or Supra stop crying about the integra it’s a compact family four door sedan with gas savings in mind, with gas prices reaching 5 bucks a gallon I rather have this integra as a daily driver which is what it was meant to be.

The CVT is fine for it’s intended purpose. It is actually faster than the manual by a hair. Sure, the 6 speed is more engaging. But in the real world, the cvt does exactly what it’s supposed to, albeit more smoothly and efficiently than any other auto or manual transmission that’s strapped into an economy car. The hate for this CVT is mostly derived from purist auto journalists who fail to grasp the intended vision and goals of the manufacturers, especially when sales and overall marketability is paramount.

Edit: what people also forget is that it really all comes down to personal preference. Just because you prefer a manual with a LSD doesn’t mean the commuter who doesn’t track their vehicle would be better suited with the same spec. Cheers.

I really wish this thing got a dual clutch like the ILX did.

A lot of ya'll are asking for a 50K price tag car on a 30K car. Go spend more money and get the fast car you all would like. Simple!

I test drove a MT recently; its fast and shifts memorably. Really, after you drive it, you will keep thinking about how precise it was.

My GT Sport uses an 1.6T rated at 201hp/ 195lbs torque with a 7spd DCT and gets to 60 between 6s flat and 6.5s Acura shoulda retained the DCT from the IlX. That being said, the hp my car is rated at is at the wheels, so crank is 220ish but Honda bois are saying the new Si and Teggy are rated at the wheels too, but that wouldn't make sense given this takes 2 more seconds than my 201hp to hit 60. Just a disappointing powertrain from Honda imo.

Throw it in sport mode. You had it in comfort

I’m surprised Acura didn’t look at using their 8speed DCT found in the TLX, that seems like it would have been a better for the engine

I like the car its biggest problem is the CVT transmission and the lack of power holds this car back from its true potential. Also, a loaded Integra can be close to a tlx at price so to me the tlx is the better choice

It’s in normal mode not even in sport and Using the paddle shifters you can get 0 to 60 in 6.5-6.7 seconds.

I hope they made major improvements to the CVT. To put it in a car with a badge that says A-Spec. My 2.4 AWD CVT CRV is way quicker than I thought it would be. I could probably drive a lot harder but I only follow the laws now. And don't really get on it unless I'm getting on a freeway. Then I'm hoping I get a chance to floor it to make it into the lane.

I’ll always choose old cars all day, back then they didn’t cheap out on parts, or care about production cost.

I hope they make a lot of Integras!
So I can buy a used one for 15K later on! :)

Super misleading to post this in comfort mode.
Yes, I know, “read the description”. Edit the title instead.
