This is a bunch of biased garbage. If the British had a system like ours, speaking of snap decisions, they'd have never entered the EU in the first place. OTOH, that their system so easily allowed them to enter the SNAFU that is the EU it is good that they could so easily exit the EU. Even with our system, we still have had foolish amendments ratified. One is changing the Senate from an appointed body to an elected one, and this change has enabled it to be easier to pass a law which allows for snap decisions to become law. Now there are people who want to do away with the Senate altogether which would make things worse yet. The worst things that the Biden admin wants to do to us would now be law, and they won't be at least if Manchin and Sinema don't cave.
