As an Optometrist myself, I'd like to offer a helpful tip: if there is not enough melatonin produced in your body at night-time, you may have difficulty getting high-quality sleep. This is because the body’s natural production of melatonin responds to stimuli from our environment. Times of low light levels, such as during evening darkness, prompt the release of this sleep hormone. Research has found, furthermore, that compared to green light wavelengths blue light is a particularly acute suppressor of melatonin, shifting circadian rhythms by twice as much! That's why blue light blocking products are so crucial for your routine.

I moved from Maryland to Florida many years ago. Daytime here is a lil longer and it's very sunny and warm here. Maryland was crappy weather and dreary. My 24 hr body cycle is good because I like where I live! Say hi to big Tony for me! Bill

I take a glass of Calm from New Vitality and spray melatonin every night under my tongue because I can be terribly physically tired and I still cant quickly fall asleep.
I try following Huberman’s technique to relax this helps me, I’m just learning that Melatonin is a hormone, what king of hormone? 🤔,

I have to get up for work at 2:45am so I am getting about 5 hours a night sometimes less. It’s very hard for me to fall asleep at the appropriate time and if I go to bed too early I wake up and can’t go back to sleep
