My daily outside walks are essential to my well being and they help me sleep better. I'm a big believer in movement being medicine.

Food is my biggest issue. I'm severely allergic to oxalates. That's the common denominator in all of my allergies. And the ASD acts up bad when I oxalate dump. Sleep is difficult because of the pain they cause & positive social interactions are almost non existent because I'm so high functioning others don't get me. I'm constantly fighting with my body to find that medium and to be happy. Then I get depressed too when my food intake is wrong because my body wants to heal itself. It all fukkin sucks. Sun light, cold rinses and moving definitely help though.

What if you live in a place with a lack of sunlight? Like Alaska? Or minimal sunlight, especially in the early hours.

I sleep like crap, my spinal stenosis has stopped me from moving very much, I have lost many friends over politics or have moved away, I live in suburbs of Chicago no sunlight and I am finally trying to eat right...I'm 71....am I doomed? I would love to move into a gated 55 and older community in warmer climate and I think that it would help me live longer!!!!
