The key to good Yorkshire Puds is having the oil really hot when you drop the batter in! They are nice with a dollop of jam as well! xx

My father has made these whenever we have lamb which is about once every 5 years or so. I have loved them since I was a child.

We make ours in a cast iron skillet like a savory Dutch Baby and slice it after it cools as with a pie.

My mom use to make them in a lasagna pan and then pour over roast beef gravy.

And then you add sausages into them and they're great! The dutch baby is the big sweet version!

My Mum and both Grandmothers made Yorkshire pudding right in the roasting pan which then picked up all the delicious drippings.
This means that there are no drippings left to make gravy so it’s a choice between Yorkshire and gravy.
