Humankind celebrated its two year anniversary in a BIG way. In this video we'll take a look at the new dlc - Cultures of Oceania! Including New Zealand, Māori, Hawaiians & other cultures.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON HOW TO PLAY THE DLC EARLY - I believe you can play test these cultures NOW if you pre-order the DLC, and load up the beta branch on Steam. Something we could look into for a future video!

This resource leniency for building units has been sorely needed, the old all or nothing way made heavy cavalry near non-existent. I would also have been happy with an increased upkeep until owning the expected resources.

The addition of Caribbean Pirates in the game is fantastic!! But I think this was a missed opportunity to add the Portuguese in as a Early Modern Civ as they would be perfect for the piracy/seafaring theme

The soundtrack of this game is an absolute triumph! It really does speak of the beauty and history of mankind and its darker moments, too.

In all the games I've played since the early 2000's I usually deactivate the ingame music always immediately but the soundtrack of Humankind is an rare and beautiful exeption. Thank you for your Humankind videos and helping to get an easyer acces to the game. Keep it up. Greetings from Germany!

The resource update looks good! Bringing in management of the trade routes and more of the resources needed for powerful units, but then the ability to accrue those resources over time if they are limited, all very interesting ideas!

Humankind always looks so cool, I even own the damn thing but it never clicked with me. I LOVE the tone of Humankind, I think Civ's current aesthetics treat history a little too lightly, but damn if Civ 6 doesn't play so damn well. Wish I could find a newer game that has the vibes of Humankind but the gameplay of Civ 6.

I really hope the next DLC after this one will focus on Asian Cultures, like the Vietnamese, Jomon, Ainu, Tibetans, Champa, etc and they could make the Chola a free culture for the classical era

im not the best grand strategy player, but humankind is on gamepass and I'm always intrigued by these kinds of games even if they are a bit daunting. This one caught my eye, so I'll give it a go and see if it makes me more interested in these types of games.
