“Everyone hates Caesar Milan”? I don’t know anyone who does. I have, however, heard many people sing his praises.

Caesar is awesome. He may have been his own worst enemy as everyone is trying to out do but can't. I love Victoria Stillwell as well but have noticed she would run from dogs Caesar deals with daily. Caesar does deal with the worst that others don't want to.

Cesar brought the method of dog psychology to light. Using clickers and treats is for training dogs to do tricks. If a dog is not balanced no matter how many tricks it knows it can be a danger to itself and others.

Well I have not seen these (other) trainers doing this job! Just like the woman that was making comments about how outdated his methods are! I would like to see her take on an aggressive biting dog and see how she does it! I thin k the man is n awsome!

It's still so bad, this animosity towards his methods, that using them in public is often inflammatory. One quick correction on the leash and I'm getting glared at by so many people (usually with yapping dogs at their feet). I've seen so many dogs with a full range of problems solved with Cesar's methods - he adapts and evolves and finds new angles and approaches to many cases while using his fundamental method of dog psychology and this is something trainers NEVER do. They just copy and paste. They also love the argument 'wolf behavior has been debunked!' ... tell that to the guy who immersed himself into a pack of wolves and lives to this day by applying this 'debunked' behavior. And! I'd easily argue that his methods are the purest form of empathy and love that you could apply to another animal. Because you're using THEIR psychology. You're not imposing your psychology on them. A click and treat trainer might as well be a circus ringleader. You're making a performance animal. As a dog behavioralist today, I carry on Cesar's methods happily. They not only rehabilitated my first dog (a puppy mill breeder who'd never been exposed to grass or sunlight) - but I can't tell you how many times I've heard 'we've gone through X amount of trainers' or 'this dog isn't fixable.' And they ARE. Not only are they fixable, but you're going to experience a bond with your dog that's so cohesive and so elevated - it'll blow your mind.

Cesar is the only one who understands and teaches energy. THAT is what it’s all about. He works with the toughest cases and won’t put a dog down. I have friends to are also committed to working with the dogs that are slotted to be euthanized. Bravo! To Cesar and those who work with the most difficult cases. Yes, each dog is unique and deserves an individual approach to rehabilitation of the terrible things done to them by the 2 leggeds.

There is an old saying, "If you're not part of the solution you are part of the problem." People come to Cesar because they have a problem controlling their dog. In many cases the problem is so severe that the owners would have to either give up their dogs or even have them put down. How many dogs' lives have been saved by this good man?

It is obvious that the people who are the most harsh in their criticisms fall into 2 categories; those that are jealous of his success and those that refuse to admit that they have no clue how to properly handle a dog and are too deluded or proud to acknowledge it.

Dogs are not people! When you treat them like they are you are part of the problem. Sometimes you have to discipline a dog. Cesar shows us that getting angry and losing your temper with a dog is never the solution. When you deal with as many cases as he has, there are going to be times when everything doesn't work out perfectly.

I'll end with this thought. It's easy to criticize from your armchair, but how many dogs have you saved?

I love him❤ He has changed and become the best version of him self. Many Many MANY trainers used out dated dog traning. Sadly Milan is the one who was popular and gets all the heat.

There was a competition of these new age dog trainer's with Cesar Milan and Cesar made them look silly. They couldn't control the dog's that Cesar could control.

My girl dogs get scary with the pups when they are teaching a lesson. Ceasar is like an angel compared to them lol people are soft
