Great video, Javier! We are super excited over here at Adobe to get this out into the wild and hear what pros like you have to say about it. Quick comment about sequence settings – the way you describe it is exactly our intention for shipping for sure (choose the best settings based on all the selected clips), but right now today it just matches the settings of the first piece of media. I LOVE your idea about the template project! We'll certainly chat about that internally. Keep making great content! You know I smashed that bell!

Thank you JM. Looks as if Pr is trying to streamline and simplify for new users. IMO, that's a step in the right direction. Initial introduction to the program can be intimidating.

You are a severely underrated channel! Your videos are so high quality and you deserve a whole lot more recognition!

Javier, can you create a video about your video template and the how and why you created it? That would be very interesting and helpful.

This looks great. However, I'm usually hesitant to upgrade Adobe apps, because something is usually broken (ex. Render times are slower). My desktop is up to date and should be overkill, but some things in the apps seem buggy. Hopefully this upgrade is safe.

Great video. I’m a beginner and would love to see a video of you setting up your project template from scratch. Or is it available for purchase?

Some of this is really good! Adding favorites to the export settings, background rendering, a lot of this sounds great.

Wow!! Such a useful video explaining this. I have been trying to get rid of this opening screen (having no idea why it was there) - now I understand it more, Im looking forward to using it. Premiere Pro just got a whole lot better. Thanks!!

I love the Workspaces icon instead of the menu bar. I’m always clicking “Effects” workspace when I’m intending Effects Panel. This will save space and reduce frustration.
Great video as always.

Thanks for sharing this first look. Quite a few promising things, but for the YouTube export, I'm a bit disappointed by the small Description field (OK, my descriptions are usually massive).

It’s good that they’re making UI improvements, however Premiere has got to be one of the most unstable, slow, and buggiest piece of software I’ve ever used. It’s terrible at utilizing the most of your hardware. At this point I’d rather them just rewrite the whole app and make it run as well as DaVinci Resolve does. I currently have no choice but to use Premiere because that’s what we use where I work. We have a very capable editing system, and DaVinci cuts like a hot knife through butter, but Premiere just drags and crashes constantly.

I’d really like to see Adobe integrate After Effects as part of Premiere as well so I can composite and not have a ton of separate After Effects files cluttering may hard drive and Premiere Project Bins. DaVinci has a much more streamlined workflow and it would be great if Adobe could do this.

The Youtube feature seems pretty convenient! I wonder how complicated it is to sync the channels and if there is a way to use this feature while working with Youtuber clients so that the final video can be directly exported to their Youtube channel, that would be an amazing feature.

Have they “fixed” the color fade issue on export? I’m still having a hard time with that and have tried the luts trick with mixed results. I put “fixed” in quotes since a lot of research says premiere isn’t the issue for the faded video, it’s QuickTime. I still get the color fade when the file is uploaded to YouTube.
