Hope for San Andreas they don’t get rid of that extreme weather the original game had like barely seeing anything in the desert or back o beyond, really had that spooky vibe to it

They’ve kept the original art style but just updated the textures, lighting and mechanics which imo is THE best way to remaster them, the original art style for the trilogy was always cartoony and stylised it was never trying to go for full realism, having the same gameplay and controller layout as GTA 5 is perfect because that is the best control layout for the series to me and many others, can’t wait for November 11th to play them

Wow I seriously did not expect this. There might be hope yet for a GTA 4 and Bully remake/remaster. These 3 games look absolutely incredible!! So excited to play them again in HD!

The characters in the remastered version will look like a cartoon. At least in Vice City it have this impression.

i was expecting either just a plain old resolution and fps boost, or a full on remodeling of the game to make it look modern and streamlined to gta v, but ill gladly take this instead. its pretty cool they kept the original design and just retextured it. gives the games a very indie and stylized look. now i guess we just wait for the official soundtrack which a lot of people are worried about.

Some complain about the cartoon graphics. Well up to GTA4 the characters were modeled always in the same cartoon style. I'm surprised that no one has noticed.

Everything looks good to me they nailed the atmosphere of each environment my only complaint is that the skin textures for Vice city and GTA III of the main character look a little too vibrant as well as shiny and plastic-like but the overall character model sculpts themselves look authentic to the graphics and art style of those games I would just desaturate the skin color a little and tone down the shine on the skin.
at 3:23 you can see what I mean Tommy practically looks like a plastic action figure.

They should’ve redone the character style. The only reason the characters looked like that back in the day was because that was the closest they could get to a real person with the hardware limits. Now it just looks corny and unappealing.

i’m waiting for a gta map similar to the crew where you can drive to Los santos+ the san fran part of san andreas, Vice city, Liberty city that would be dope af to witness but i’ll probably be 50-60 by the time that happens 😂
