OMG!! I was so confused with the professors' conventional way of solving convolution but this made it look like piece of cake!! :D...

for d) the illustration not same with formula you derived. Should be the starting point to draw is -2 not -3?

In case the zero position is not told how will you go in doing the convolution ?

if the length of h[n] and x[n] is the same, how would you do it? please

The graph on part B is wrong:

S(n-2) delays the signal by 2 seconds, so the {1, 2, 0-3} amplitude will be placed at {3, 4, 5, 6) seconds

S(n+1) advances the signal by 1 second, so the {1, 2, 0, -3} amplitude will be placed at {0, 1, 2, 3} seconds

The answer should be:
{1, 2, 0, -2, 2, 0, -3} amplitude
At
{0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6} seconds

you started off wrong.. (the screenshot at 12:25) is what i'm talking about.. i'm 90% sure that n=0 is at 1 and not -10.. pls recheck EVERYTHING bcs i think you strated off wrong when you calculate x[0]*h[n]

Did anyone tried to use his convolution rule with two impulses delayed for each side?

Like, Delta(n-1) * Delta(n+1)? It should be zero delay (Delta(n)), but I couldnt figure it out....
