Bentley is set to conclude the production of its iconic 12-cylinder petrol engine, the W12, in April 2024. By then, over 100,000 examples of this legendary engine will have been meticulously handcrafted at Bentley's Crewe factory.
This decision is part of Bentley's commitment to a sustainable future outlined in its Beyond100 strategy, aiming for a fully electrified model lineup by the beginning of the next decade, with zero fleet average emissions. The introduction of hybrid models like the Bentayga and Flying Spur Hybrid is already underway, exceeding initial demand projections. Once W12 production ceases, Bentley's entire model range will offer hybrid powertrain options.
