I do find Hayley's journey so inspiring. They really hit the mark with their seat designation of "Hope". It's not about her glory, it's about her example to the children. In her capacity as a PA for St Jude, she can tell the children that she went through what they are going through, with full honesty, because she went through it all. And that gives the children hope. How much greater of a hope can she give them, with the story that someday they can experience anything in life, up to and including traveling to space? It's really important to these children not to stop dreaming and hoping for the future. It really is a beautiful choice.

All of us here are space nuts, and we love that people are beginning to dream again. It seemed for a while like humanity had stopped dreaming of the stars. And these are things that private investors (of all things) are bringing back to our generation, first with Inspiration 4, and later with Dear Moon. I don't have to have a seat to feel the joy and pride that our hope is once again alive. But how much more important are these dreams to children with cancer? I wanted to stand up and clap when she finally launched into space. I wish her well and godspeed.

Rather than Congratulate SpaceX for the latest flight and advancing spaceflight, he should instead drop his lawsuits, slowing an already glacially paced process and get the out of the way of advancing spaceflight..

Kevin, you forgot to mention the cheering and clapping of the SpaceX employees, it was amazing to hear all those people in the background. Together with Hayley, it is nice to see people's true nature, not a cold-stone face everyone has today.
