the starship situation feels like when youre speedrunning a game and reach a mission where you are forced to go slow.

Am I the only person who gets a big grin when I see that lovely copper-green-tinged engine-rich exhaust? 😁
SN8, thank you for sacrifice
(same for launchpad).

That fuel animation. Whenever I see it, I think that Starship is being fueled by Pepsi and Coca-Cola.

Maybe don't complain when you upgrade a rocket assembly site to a rocket launching site despite being in close proximity to the habitat of endangered space dolphins - er, I mean, sea turtles - and somebody insists on doing an environmental impact study.

What I don't understand is why everybody assumes the results of the study will be in SpaceX's favor. This isn't a procedural issue, this is quite possibly the way the Boca Chica site is forced to stop launching rockets.

I'm romanian and I can't believe there are actually people from other countries who are hyped for this launch. Even though romanians are usually pretty slow, I am proud that they want to do this😁

Stop painting the FAA as the enemy. They're just doing their job. Even if their architecture isn't optimized for the future of rocket launch cadences, they are not the enemy of SpaceX. The environmental review is a necessary procedure.

The FAA are doing a good job, I'm getting tired of people blaming FAA they have been quite lenient with spacex. If you watched there may the fourth funny video you would see in the ofice background they have the odd poster and model.

Much talk about FAA... But the truth is that SpaceX is not ready for a orbital test flight yet and probably will not be before FAA has come to a decision. Much work on the ground left to do and even if they work fast they probably have a couple of month left. I would say that the only risk "with FAA" is if SpaceX is not getting a license. (But that is most likely SpaceX fault and not FAA:s, FAA is there for a reason)
