I have a MOO Plan N Medigap policy in TX. for the last 4.5 yrs. As of 07/01/2023, they are raising the single premium rates about 19%. I am being treated for cancer with FOLFIRI chemo. I was told I could not change providers because of this. Do I have any options?

I bought a Mutual of Omaha Supplement and it was a big mistake! Over the past five years, the rate increases have averaged 15.9% annually. I started at $102.90 and five years later I'm at $215.46 a month. And the reason for this is because the "closed the book" on my plan. I have since learned that this is a common trick pulled by Mutual of Omaha in order to show low starting rates. A very deceptive practice. AVOID MUTUAL OF OMAHA.
