Trade is an economic policy, and restrictions on trade should not be used as a political weapon, says Dr. Arthur Laffer, Founder & Chairman of Laffer Associates and Former Economic Advisor to President Reagan and President Trump. “If you want to get angry at a country, use your military. If you want to get angry at them verbally, use your State Department. But leave trade out of the mix,” Laffer tells Michelle Makori, Lead Anchor and Editor-in-Chief at Kitco News.
