Magellan was not killed in Mindanao. He was killed in Mactan, Cebu and Cebu is one of the Visayas Provinces. Although, Spaniards still colonize the entire country. We adopt some of their culture, with the words we are still using today, in terms food, religion, norms, traits and even our last names.

So thankful that the daughter did not embarrass herself, considering she comes the younger generation. Hence not embarrassing the Filipino lol. She does have a lot of knowledge about Philippine history, geography, food, traditions etc. Even familiar with Betamax, Adidas etc (oh, isn’t there also skewered BBQ called IUD lol YES! the contraceptive device lol) Sorry to say, but she, actually, would’ve done a better job in describing the food accurately.

David is so adventurous, you can see he really appreciated the food. But to be fair, they all look so delicious that it’s making me miss and crave all that was laid on the table.
