Over the years my clients have described all sorts of different anxiety symptoms to me, and some are more common than others.
We all know about the racing heart, the muscle tension and the shortness of breath, but there are so many seldom spoken about symptoms of anxiety that are actually more common than you might think.

one of my eye twitches during high stress and then i get anxious about little things. like i’ll replay a convo in my head at work they i had with a coworker and over analyze the convo to make sure i didn’t say anything unprofessional or any inappropriate jokes, or i get anxious about what someone may have thought of me after a social interaction

One of my symptoms that used to bother me a lot is tension in throat/feeling like I'm about to gag. I had a few "incidents" where I would suddenly start gagging without much warning and it scared me really bad (because emetophobia) and as a result I became agoraphobic. I know now that avoiding everything is not the solution and that I need to work on not being so scared of the gagging, rather than trying to control it. And that pretty much all of my anxiety fears are about uncertainty in some way and that I need to learn to desensitize to uncertainty in general. It's not easy, but I am working on it every day.

@Tim Box great video! something I can relate too for sure, have you watched "Modern Family" (US Sitcom) One of the characters Phil Dunfy blinks when anxious, one of many ways I relate to him!

😂😂 damn. I would be FINISHED if anyyyyone seen me in MY weirdest, most anxious behaviors ....lol He said his friend texted him asking "bro, are u alright" because he was blinking so damn much. 😂😂 It's funnier becuz i know EXACTLY what he looked like💀

I've been having digestive issues, stinging headaches on one side of my head, feeling of being bloated and numb hands and feet for months now, found out its caused by hypochondria and watching videos about it is definitely helping me calm down when i'm having panic attacks, makes me feel less insane as i always felt like it was just a me thing, kinda glad to learn the things i'm feeling are real but caused by these chaotic thoughts

I get those symptoms big time like this morning it is really bad but I just tell myself I'm okay I've been through this for 12 years take it easy because yesterday was a good day this morning because I know I have an important phone call I'm getting anxious do you have any tips about this problem I get every time before I go to the doctors I'm okay in the morning once I get to my doctors I've been going there for 4 years everybody is really cool to me they know I have anxiety but once when I take my blood pressure it goes way up did I try to relax for 20 minutes then it goes down 👎 sometimes I get this weird smell

Funny I was curious seeing your symptom and what it would be, and it was the exact same symptom I’ve been having the last 6 years lol. My eyes also get blinky/watery so I can absolutely relate to your experience. Even though I’ve been dealing with it for so long I’m still self-conscious about it, and it makes it hard to enjoy conversations or socialize when I’m worried people will notice my eyes tweaking out.

But Amygdala is simple part of the brain, how is that part can say to you what is wrong in life? That comes from concious part of Mind not from subconcious i think?
