You had inaccuracies in the German Church Road story. The Grimes sisters (Barbara & Patricia) either walked the 1 and half miles to the theater or took the bus. They weren't old enough to drive being only 12 and 15 years old. And, they weren't missing for a year... they disappeared Dec 28th, 1956, and their naked bodies were found dumped in a ditch off German Church Road less than a month later on January 22nd. The bodies were frozen, and the Coroner suspected they had been there for several days. It was also determined they'd been sexually assaulted. The murders were never solved. In the first years afterwards, a black car was seen and heard slowing down and stopping near where the bodies were found, then speeding away. It was always at night, and the car had no headlights on. As the years passed, the ghostly car was no longer seen, but only heard slowing down and stopping to dump the bodies before speeding off.

My mom was one of the people who saw the Kennedy Hill Ghost. She doesn't think it was a ghost, just a strange lodger who lived nearby and would walk at night in unseasonably light clothing. My theory is after the first few sightings, the lodger and maybe her friends started staging more ghostly stuff. Or maybe it was a ghost? :)

Valley view Illinois, a place I grew up. 45 minutes outside of Chicago, known for having Al Capones hideaway is definitely haunted. Just dropped off my girlfriend and Was driving up the hill that Al capones hideaway is at the bottom at and saw a childlike figure run across the road into a yard and on the stoop of the house. I drove past slow to make sure everything was okay. I saw the front porch of the house. Door closed, the windows to the house pitch black so obviously no one in the house was up. When I drove past and saw that instant chills down my spine. Like I seen something I definitely shouldn’t have. I remember just speeding off like a bat out of hell.

New to the channel. Been down German Church Rd many times. Grime sisters did make it to the Elvis Presley movie in December, found dead in a creek by German Church Rd. And yes, the house that was there is gone and I think the lot is finally for sale

I saw the story sbout the boy being killed by someyhing falling on him i think according to that story it was a bird feeder the story was told by a man who had lived in that area back in the 80's i think he said that him abd a bunch of friends went to the property where the mansion had stood it was a favorite thing for teenagers to do then go up to the place to see if there were any ghost something happened while he was there him and his friends got out of there with the quickness
