God forgives all sins
Even wilful sins
There are many explanations for that verse

Meaning if you do not accept the free gift of salvation after receiving the gospel there is no sacrifice that can save you. You can no longer rely on animal sacrifices it has to be through placing your faith in Jesus alone since the Mosaic Law is no more.

This was written to Hebrew Israelites that heard the message of Christ but rejected Christ to go back to Judaism and animal sacrifices.
The writer here was warning against rejecting Christ to go back to their old ways. He was encouraging people to turn from the old covenant and turn to the new and better covenant.
To trust in Christ’s once and for all sacrifice!
This is not a message that if someone sins after being born again they will lose salvation.

I hope that helps others understand and not to fear. Christ is sufficient! If you are saved, you have eternal life!
Context is very important when reading scripture.
God bless

Notice this whole passage is about the old covenant vs the new covenant. When it says “suppose ye” and “be thought worthy of” and such terms, notice it’s discussing your conscience and your heart, after you sin you’re going to feel like you need to make a sacrifice, he’s telling them, because at the time there were Jews and Christians on the receiving end of this letter, and they still wanted to make sacrifices for their sins, but he’s saying that if you sin there isn’t any sacrifice left for you to make, because of everything he just finished explaining in the first part of the chapter. Jesus paid it all, once for all time. So he’s saying there’s no sacrifice left, and as a result you’ll have a fearful expectation of judgement and fiery indignation, because you feel convicted by your conscience. But don’t take this section out of context. His ultimate point is to not lose your confidence with God. That His sacrifice was enough and to not expect His wrath to fall on you as if you were his adversary. We are not His adversary. 1 John 3 tells us that if our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts, but if our hearts don’t condemn us then we have confidence before God. It’s telling us the same thing here, even when you sin willfully, and you’ll expect Gods wrath on you like it was under the old covenant, don’t let your conscience draw you to conclude that there’s no hope for you. Because also in 1 John 3 it says if any man says he doesn’t sin he is a liar. So if you are a liar to say you don’t sin, then you sin and are guilty of what Hebrews is talking about here, which means every single one of us is condemned already. But that’s not why Jesus came to the cross. He came to forgive. And he came to save. And the Bible says “By grace are you saved, and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast.” So are we saved by works? Well I think He makes it clear that salvation is through Christ alone. So can our good works keep us saved? I think it’s clear that our good works can’t keep us saved, so it would follow that our sins can’t cause us to lose our salvation either. But your conscience has a strong pull, and it will condemn you if it can and cause you to lose your confidence with Christ. Hebrews is telling us not to let that happen, that it IS a terrible thing to fall into the hands of a living God, but call to remembrance the former days… when you sin don’t let your conscience convince you that your God’s adversary. Don’t forget the times you’ve walked closely and talked with the Lord. He’s still there, and He still loves you, and that sin is paid for. Just come back into His loving arms and don’t even worry about not having anything to bring, He’s already paid the price!

Damn that’s a heavy verse. I see two sides. Some say God forgives all sin, including willful sin. Others say he doesn’t. I’d prefer to be safe than sorry and take it literal.

95 percent of people don’t understand this verse. The book of Hebrews is written to the Jews who are Christian’s . They because of persecution. Want to revert back to Judaism . Animal sacrifices , Alters . That’s What’s being. Addressed here . Learn to rightly divide the word of truth . 2 Timothy 2 verse 15. You need to read. What’s before this and after this . Chapter before 8 and 9 talks about Animal sacrifices . The blood of bulls and goats will never take away sin now that Jesus Christ has offered up himself . Learn your Bible and stop pulling Out a verse and trying to make it mean something it don’t . ISREAL. Is being address . The Lord will judge his people ISREAL 10:30. Look at Deuteronomy 32 verse 36 and you will see the correlation

You can’t just quote a verse and not give an explanation. 99% of people don’t understand the meaning of this verse and on the surface it might look like there are some sins God can’t forgive. The only thing that God can’t forgive per se is the one who never believes on Jesus for forgiveness of sins. Believing in Jesus’ death burial and resurrection is the only thing that will get you into heaven.

The SIN that this is talking about is the SIN OF REJECTING the SON of GOD. HE IS THE ONLY SACRIFICE FOR SIN. Please read the whole verse in its context. Keep reading verse 29 explaining “How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace?”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭29‬ ‭ESV‬‬
Romans 7:22-25 would also agree with this view. Praise Jesus
