When I was in the hospital for 2 months for treatment from leukemia, I missed my cats so much. When I finally got home, my cats stayed with me the whole time and wouldn't leave me alone.
They made me feel better after everything that happened.

I agree, that cats aren't looking at humans as subservients. Cats tend to get a bad rap, but they have just as much love to share as dogs, cats just communicate differently than dogs. Cats aren't aloof, they're more subtle in communicating their love at times. There's lots of love packed into their head bumps, slow blinks, following us around, bumping up against us, meowing, trilling, and such!

I had a cat for 17.5yrs...he was my ride or die...he rode with me in my truck, flew with me across the country, he was amazing!! I recently had him put to sleep because he was very ill...I miss him and can relate to this video...I have another that grew up (as a kitten) knowing only him...she's extremely intelligent, loves to play...she is amazing as well. Anyone that has never owned cats should perhaps consider one, a couple, if possible. I miss my boy everyday...and I know he loved me as much as I love him, still to this day. Cats are amazing!

I dont own a cat, but the thought of giving your cat a treat when you get home is kind of smart and funny to earn their trust & make them like and respect you! Since they think youre going to hunt when you leave the house, and then you come back with the catch of the day, just for them...something about that is so funny but wholesome 😂😂. "LOOK WHAT I DID! I WAS GONE ALL DAY HUNTING FOR YOU KITTY CAT!"

My cat legit got me through my dad's suicide lol. She heard me crying and immediately latched onto me, sat and cuddled with me for hours until i felt better. She had no idea what was happening but she knew her fluffy little face would make it all okay

I grew up around cats and had many adorable moments with them. One totally black kitten I had when I was 7 years old was a cast-off from a superstitious neighbour who didnt want her because she thought all black cats are evil. She was the sweetest though..she would sit on my lap and wait patiently with me when I sit and watch TV shows. Sadly, we moved away to a different province and the long road trip made it impossible for me to take her with us, so she stayed w my aunt and I didnt see her again. I had another cat who slept with me on the same bed, would scratch my lap blanket, but if I held her paws, she would automatically retract her claws. I had another who loved chocolates as much as I did, one who sang for her supper, whenever I fried some chicken. I had one who allowed me to give her baths in the bathroom sink.

All my cats are like a family members, same as other pets in my family. They are playful, friendly and very protective. They taught me to wake up 5, how to have patience and to be alert at all times. They are very protective as well. I love them 😻
