Grian: “you need to let go of the name of the block”

Iskall to diorite: no

I love that Grian does these kind of videos instead of building tutorials because you learn a lot more and it’s more likely to stick in your head

top tip: if you are struggling with seeing the blocks simply as a texture, I recommend changing your language

I like how instead of just showing us how to make a cool build he teaches us how to be creative and make our own

A wise man once said, "I don't do interiors."

You can also use gradients to make square structures seem round, by making the corners light and the middles of the walls dark. Or, you can reverse the effect, by making a circle look boxy.

I think that this video should have been called “Build School: Gradiants” to kind of reminisce the classic Grian!

Let's hope Toycat & Iskall never see this video...one would have a heart attack over the gravel, the other over the diorite!

I like Grian's "tutorials" because he doesn't just build something step by step, but he teaches you HOW to build

BDubs castle in Hermitcraft is a great example of a many color gradient on an Omega scale. The man's a real architect, and it shows ❤

Grian basically tought us about shapes, texture, roofs, styles, gave us ideas how to go about themed buildings when he showed us different "rooms", hot to decorate the place around your house, he showed how to fill up interior with something like furniture, now he's teachibg us how to implement gradients to make buildings so much better than before. My University tought me less in years than Grian in hours of repeatedly watching these videos. One lesson at a time, my buildings evolved from basic box+pyramid to complex mantions

Edit: sorry for the spelling, i hope it isn't terrible but english isn't my native language

Can‘t believe I‘m 5minutes into a Grian-Video about gradients and haven‘t heard a single grey-dient pun...

Especially since he mostly uses a gray -gradient
